Job Description
 

Whilst the role naturally encompasses ownership for the entire Sales function within Transcar, some key responsibilities include:

Devise and Manage Sales Strategies and ensure are fully aligned to the support of high level business objectives
Be accountable for attaining sales targets with existing customer accounts and also developing new customer accounts
Manage the Sales Team consisting of 5 Managers and 21 Sales Consultants to deliver smooth operations.
Manage the ancillary functions like Sales Admin and Logistics functions for the showroom
Be the top level contact for all customers and Ensure Smooth Customer Satisfaction at all times
Be able to meet the Sales targets set for the unit
Establish strong working relationships and deep network with customers
Co-ordinate effectively with Mercedes-Benz in the process of routine reporting, as required by Mercedes-Benz
Be an advocate for Continuous enhancement and refinement of Strategies. Champion change and improvement initiatives and take it forward in terms of translating the same into operational effectiveness.

Excellent interpersonal skills in terms of influencing external customers is key to this role
Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to influence at all levels are vital
Advocate of the highest professional standards, quality and excellence
Dynamic, resourceful and self-motivated person with ability to work independently and to drive the overall Sales & Marketing team
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
